Inquiry – youngsters and pocket money
Why?
Some pupils get pocket money, others don't. It is important that pupils see the differences, also concerning their age and financial situation.
De ene leerling krijgt zakgeld, de andere niet. Het is belangrijk dat leerlingen het verschil zien wat hun leeftijd en financiële situatie betreft.
What?
Pupils start their own inquiry where they gather information, present it in an Excel Sheet and draw conclusions.
Leerlingen starten hun eigen onderzoek waarin ze informatie verzamelen, deze presenteren in een Excelbestand en besluiten trekken.
How?
Independent assignment.
First pupils learn how to make questions for an inquiry, then they present these questions to peers and at the end they present the results and make decisions from it.
Zelfstandig onderzoek.
Eerst leren de leerlingen om vragen op te stellen voor een onderzoek. Daarna presenteren ze deze vragen aan hun klasgenoten. Uiteindelijk presenteren ze de resultaten en trekken ze er besluiten uit.
