EuFin partner, MTÜ Rahatarkus and Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority started a new consumer education project „Three steps to financial well-being“.
The purpose of this project is to help people manage their daily finances – this is extremely crucial during economic crises caused by the coronavirus. OECD report “Under Pressure: The Squeezed Middle Class“ states that about 40% of the Estonian middle class might face difficulties in an uncertain economic situation.
MTÜ Rahatarkus will launch a series of podcasts which will cover topics about managing one’s finances and standard conditions of small loans. How to avoid debts is an important topic as well. In addition to podcasts an articles about the same topics will be published in local newspapers to reach over 50 years old target groups.
Podcasts and articles are available both in Estonian and Russian.
