Research project Aisa Amagir nominated for 'Research of the Year' award
Aisa Amagir's research project has been nominated for the 'Research of the Year' award. This prize focuses on a research project at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam that is done from a faculty research program, knowledge center and/or Centre of Expertise.
A jury consisting of professors affiliated to the Hogeschool van Amsterdam nominated Aisa Amagir's research project together with two other research projects out of seven nominations.
Reward
With the 'Research of the Year' award, the HvA wants to celebrate and reward an exemplary research project of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. A jury prize and a public prize are awarded annually.
Award ceremony
On Thursday August 27, 2020 during the Opening of the Academic Year, the winner will be announced and the jury prize and a public prize will be awarded.
More about Aisa Amagir's research project
Aisa Amagir investigated which financial literacy aspects most influence financial decision-making among young students in the Netherlands. In addition, she conducted a systematic literature review on key characteristics of effective financial literacy education programs. Based on these results, she developed the financial education program SaveWise and measured the effects among 713 pre-vocational students.
