On 12th of October, the Italian Savings Museum organized online workshop for school teachers and educational staff for the promotion of active economic citizenship. The event aimed at reflecting about the ways of innovating didactic, after what we have been passing through during pandemic. During the event different representatives of the educational world intervened: principals, third organizations interested in promoting financial education and an university professor. Further, many school teachers actively attended the workshop, making questions and proposing solutions, based on their experience.

Professor Tommaso Agasisti makes his intervention talking about EUFin project and how partners are dealing with pandemic. He also posed the accent on the importance of evaluating the didactical materials, to better realize if they are effective in improving financial knowledge of students. Through the evaluation is also possible to understand if particular students’ features are associated with higher (or lower) improvements, suggesting relevant information about how financial knowledge is transmitted.

Generally, the event was attended by an high number of people, confirming the importance and interest in the subject. This is just one of the examples of the events promoting financial education in Italy: in fact, it is just started the Italian month of financial education. Hence, during October many initiatives and interventions are taking place (on site or online) in Italy. It is worth to note that the number of events related to this subject is increasing year by year, suggesting, once again, the importance and the interest in finance.
