Are you interested in financial education? When your answer is “yes” you should definitely participate at the EUFin Conference “Current Practices and Future Challenges of Financial Education” in Tallinn on June 3–4, 2021.
Of course, there are lots of reasons to participate but let’s bring out only three.
- The conference brings together promoters, educators and researchers of financial literacy. You can hear about the latest practices and trends from the various experts, including three keynote speakers: Tim Kaiser, Professor at University of Koblenz-Landau; Chiara Monticone, Senior Policy Analyst (OECD), and Olaf Simonse, Money Wise Platform (Netherlands).
- It is the final conference of a three-year Erasmus+ project EUFin. Experts from five countries – Belgium, Estonia, Italy, Netherlands and Slovakia – partnered for developing innovative financial education resources for schools and universities. In Tallinn, the key outcomes of this project will be introduced.
- Both days are filled with three parallel tracks. The first track is for teachers providing financial education at schools and introduces innovative resources they can use in their work. The second is aimed for researchers studying financial literacy and ways of promoting it through financial education, behavioural interventions or by other means. The third track is for the promoters of financial education.
The speakers of the final conference are published on the conference website. You can register here.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the conference will be a hybrid event, allowing guests to attend the conference both virtually and in-person. We are inviting everyone to attend in person in Tallinn and promise to adhere to all health and safety requirements posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
