Titia Boerrigter is a teacher-educator and researcher at the Amsterdam University of applied science already for 9 years. For 12 years she was a teacher of economics at a secondary school in the Netherlands. She also got involved in coaching & career development for students. She is trained, as she started out, as a lawyer, but felt is was more important to work side by side with others to contribute to the development of young people. "Education is the most important tool against poverty and life-long learning should be in every country's public system", she claims. Titia is excited about the role of financial education in people's lifes and that's why she is a part of this European project.
