Lukáš Vartiak (Assoc. Prof. Ing. PhD.) is a full-time teacher at the Business Academy in Žilina, Slovakia. He teaches the main Economic subjects in English as a part of bilingual vocational studies and participates in international projects supported by the EU funding. In 2011, he completed his bachelor studies in the field of Management at the University of Prešov in Slovakia. Subsequently, he received his master's degree in the field of E-Commerce and Management in 2014 at the University of Žilina in Slovakia. He continued his studies at the doctoral level with focus on Business Excellence, Corporate Social Responsibility and Quality Management, and as a result, he earned his PhD degree in the field of Economics and Management of an Enterprise in 2017 also at the University of Žilina in Slovakia. As an outcome of several years of external co-operation with the Warsaw Management University in Poland, he was appointed to Associate Professor in December 2018. He has published several scientific articles in domestic and foreign scientific journals, as well as in proceedings from domestic, international and global scientific conferences, and these outputs are included in internationally recognised databases, such as Scopus, Web of Science and Ebsco.
